Hi! I’m Cheryl and I studied Design at CUNY Queens College for two years, before transferring to the Design and Environmental Analysis program at Cornell University from 2020-2022.
My design journey began from the arts. I studied and practiced studio arts for many years before doing any digital work. My college curriculum included courses on ergonomics, manufacturing, and the social impact of design.
Since then, I’ve worked on designing websites and digital interfaces for clients all throughout the United States. My goal is to put the breadth of my skills towards building impactful products that everyone can access and benefit from.
The digital divide is alienating many people from accessing essential services and innovations. To become effective designers, I believe we need to be more conscious than ever of this divide, and work towards a better understanding of diverse experiences.
